Woops!

So you no doubt noticed there was a lack of blog yesterday... That was Chris' fault. All his. Blame him. Here, go to feinraf.com and spam his blog with hate for making me forget about the blog...

So what happened yesterday... Not a whole lot, and I can't remember much other than, getting out of bed at like 2ish, having another marmite sandwich of course, but I put ready salted crisps in it! I can tell you, it's not as good as hula hoops and if it has to be walker crisps, salt and vinegar is better.
Got on my laptop to watch youtube and so forth...
Think I may have turned on the TV every so often to see if there was something worth while on...

Anyway, to the late hours of the day, Chris and I were playing on a minecraft map, Skyblock for our new joint venture, SimonChrisFilms. The name was his choice really. I suggested CSFilms or SCFilms and Chris said, CS is thought of more as Counter Strike, so I guess if that's true then it would be better to not mislead those people! They are a possible audience after al. So we went with SCFilms. I feel I've said it before really. And who cares! Repetition is a good way to learn! Repetition is a good way to learn! Repetition is a good way to learn!
So Chris and I were playing Skyblock, you basically start off on this little island and you have 50 challenges and various rules like "no mods" which is like, no God mode, no spawning items, so on. The 50 challenges are hard and take time and you need to think before doing as Chris did not. Several times. Meh.
So that's what I was doing from something like 10pm to 1.30am. We restarted once because Chris died with stuff we needed on him and yeah.
So one of these challenges is to make an infinite cobblestone generator. That's how you do most of the challenges with that thing. So you can reach the sand blocks in the distance, so you can build a house, a platform for mobs to spawn on 24 blocks away and so forth.
I've been thinking today about how to make a mob trap utilising the cacti we collected and grew. I have a pretty solid idea. But first...

Today! I got up after hitting snooze on my phone 3 times, I hate waking up to alarms... Had a quick lunch with the last of my clover, naturally a marmite sandwich of course, but it looks like my lunches until Tuesday will be bread. Unless I decide to try marmite alone on the bread... that'll be quite strong tasting but we'll see.
I had to get up to an alarm today as I had a Job Centre appointment. For some bizarre reason, they've decided to change my sign in time... It'll be every second Thursday, at 9:30am rather than 2:24pm. Thanks you gits.
It's such a pain how many jobs there are, but how few that will take on someone with virtually no experience whatsoever.
So I limped up there, I did kill my knee on Tuesday night on my run, it hurts off and on really, but yeah. I love how helpless the people in the job centre are really... They don't give you much advice honestly but oh well. I'd probably forget a lot of it anyway.

Oh! That actually reminded me, I got nagged at by Chris yesterday to write a blog post for the stuff we're doing, so if you want to check it out, here's a link Simon & Chris Films.

So I began walking back, still limping and a bit more now having had to climb 3 floors as usual. It doesn't help my knee in the slightest but I refuse to take the lift if I can still walk at all.
Texted Dan a few times as I walked back along Princes Street. If he was working in Starbucks I'd pop in to try claim a free hot chocolate or something! He wasn't... So I went in Game, had a look around, talked to one of the staff about the PSVita, I thought it wasn't doing well but that's just Japan. They're too used to the PSP they don't want to move on, but here it's done very well, that store only had 7 of them left. I could have given it a go but I decided not to. I do want to get one some time though. After I've got a mac, canon 550D, maybe after I've built a new gaming pc. Naturally, all of that after I get a flat with Dan and a couple other people.

Don't think I mentioned it on Tuesday actually, but Graham offloaded a pretty... annoying piece of information to me while we waited for people for pizza night.
He's planning to move to England after the summer... I have a feeling I won't really be all that welcome in Andrew's flat if Graham's buggering off... All the same, I didn't want to stay here longer than I had to, so I guess there's now a true deadline on finding a job and getting out of here...
Don't get me wrong, Andrew doesn't mind me being here, he's hardly here himself. He'd move in with Graham's mum if he wasn't such a committaphobe.
I know for a fact though, one day I will lose someone close to me, and gain a fair amount of money. That money will be life changing for me in a way, but I hope I don't waste it all...
Only stupid things I do with money every so often would be buying a scratch card when I go shopping. The tesco I go to (I prefer tesco to most shops) doesn't sell them though. But even then, I've not technically lost money from buying scratch cards, best I've won was £40 for a £2 card. I just spend the money which is why I have none, I haven't lost money to scratch cards... YET.

I popped into HMV after Game, went down to the basement to look at games and such, think I've worked out, you bring your own game to the gamerbase. Now if only I worked there too then it'd be free entry. Hm...

Plodded back to the flat after that though and I got on minecraft again. I decided to give Skyblock a go on my own without the walking disaster zone that is Feinraf AKA Chris.
I had to restart once or maybe twice. But I'm doing well on it now. Out of the 50 challenges I've only done 11. I'm currently harvesting cobble stone to try build my mob trap.
Chris showed me a video about how to get under the sand island, it's a 3x3x3 box of sand, you can take off the top 9 blocks, but anything from the layers below and the whole thing falls. I apparently missed a trick with water which isn't all that safe really, but the dude in the video said it was. But either way, The 9 sand was enough for me, I made 16 glass panes which was a challenge using 6 glass blocks, and the last 3 sand blocks I have I can use in my mob trap easily enough.
So here is what I have so far really. This is the main body of the island. the grass where the trees are is pretty much the area you spawn on, only 2 blocks higher.
From left to right, Nether portal, house under which is my mushroom far (MAGIC MUSHROOMS), infinite water source, tree sapling in front of that, cobblestone generator, pumpkin/melon farm and a birch tree sapling in front of that.

This is just a picture of the path I built to the sand that fell. The wall on the right is 24 blocks away and there I will build my mob trap.

So I think that brings us to now really. I'm going to watch a couple videos then go back to minecraft and continue trying to complete challenges and such.

Will be going to Nandos in an hour or so. Dan said he'd be free at 9.30, whether than means he'll be here at 9.30 (doubt that) or if he'll be coming here after that, I'm not 100% sure, but he said he will get there before it closes which is 10.30 on a Thursday. Hopefully he's willing to give to the "Feed Hungry Simons" Charity. I need £10 to buy a medium heat Chicken Burger with a side of chips and a bottomless drink. And since it'll be the third box on my loyalty card, I'll also get a free 1/4 chicken! It may sound greedy, but for one, it doesn't really fill you up... even 2 sides barely does the trick. And Dan will be getting a free WHOLE chicken, as I'm sure I've said before. He gets extra hot chicken burger with chips and mash potato and then a whole chicken for free. Hopefully we go play pool after too. But I can't pay, of course. XD
So that's me I guess. I'll probably make another post after midnight I'm sure.

Speak to you later/tomorrow! Byebye. Much love to all <3
