Think I may have remembered it again actually. Anyway...
I finally
Honestly, it's a great game. But there is just far too much that brings it down! For instance, the lack of checkpoints, particularly after key moments in the game... It's ridiculous!
Then there's only 2 difficulties... Normal and Realistic. I was playing normal and it was hard as hell... Mainly because of the lack of checkpoints honestly... But there is NO chance, I will even attempt Realistic...
So I'm moving onto Mass Effect. I don't like that game honestly...
I've hated it for a long, long time... But I need to actually finish it. I want to take my character through Mass Effect, through Mass Effect 2 again, this time making no mistakes so I get all teh achievables! And then onto Mass Effect 3 when I get it!
I noticed on Amazon when I was looking at the price of a PS Vita, which by the way, it costs more than an Xbox360 slim with 250GB hard drive and Kinect sensor... That's nuts. Anyway, I saw Forza 4 when I was looking at the price of the xbox stuff just to see what it was compared to the Vita. It's got a purple strip on it.
If you don't know what that means, it means, you can use it with the kinect sensor!
Now HOW in the hell does that work? It makes no sense at all!
Anyway, I'm playing Mass Effect once more, I had to make that soppy speech again just now even though I was past that part last time I played... I quite like my character though. I feel like, if I had a buzzcut and lost weight, I could actually look a bit like that. Although my facial structure is probably different anyway.
Meh...
Been watching TomSka's videos too of course. I really wish I could go to England to do a video related course, like the one I'm trying to join at Stevenson College. But the problem with that, I've lived in Scotland for over 3 years, so I get free education pretty much... Free college and like free 4 years of Uni or something. In England, I lived there for 4 years, but those were my first 4 years alive, doubt they'd count. And regardless, you must pay! I think... I don't actually know how it works down there...
But anyway, I really wish I have a good experience at Stevenson. It's a new college for me, new people, people who share my interest in video production and such. Most likely share my interest in youtube as well. Best source of material for inspiration and so forth. I hope I can overcome my awkward and shy nature...
Dan's girlfriend Nicky is going there too. I doubt she'd be able to help but it's possible... I dunno. I've rarely spoken to her. The first time I met her, she and Dan spent about 20 minutes kissing pretty much... Dan and I were going to the cinema to see a movie. Ended up being too late and watching something else I think. Meh.
Anyway, as the title of this blog says. I maaaay do an all nighter? it's 10 past 3am already. But I don't want to be up too late so that I can't go out to Nandos. If I go at all... I'd like to go to nandos, Thursday is nando night after all!
Just noticed I keep typing nandos in two different ways... sort of. Nandos and nandos... MEH
But I dunno... Money is being an issue still of course, so I don't know if I should go to nandos... we shall see...
If I do go, I want to get a double chicken breast burger, this time, hot rather than medium. I feel I'm getting too used to medium. It's not burning as much as it used to.
Of course, if I do an all nighter, I would be able to go to sleep relatively early tomorrow and be able to get up early and refreshed. Particularly since I have to go to Leith somewhere for an interview at Brighthouse. Then I'll go along to Ocean Terminal and then alllllllll the way back past the flat to the Gyle to pick up job related stuffs. As I said in a previous blog, they give you a print out of all available jobs in the place.
Anyway, I'll go back to Mass Effect now. Best make SOME headway with it... I'm like, barely anywhere really...
Just looked at the achievements on the game. There is a lot for playing through the game multiple times... Play the majority of the game with a particular team mate on your squad, play the game once, twice, once on hardcore, once on insane, reach level 50, reach level 60. All of these require quite a few play throughs I'd imagine... I guess once I've done it once, and get through ME2 properly, I'll not have much else better to do.
I wonder what I need to do in ME2 achievement-wise actually...
42 of 62 achievements. Not bad for that, uhhh....
Help the Justicar resolve her mission, thats the one I failed as well as two team mates dying in the final mission. Complete the game on insanity, keep your team alive through the suicide mission... don't rub it in you darn xbox! Complete ME2 twice or once with a character from ME1. hah... that's rubbing it in a bit too! Then a few kill related things to do with biotics and such and DLC achievements. I think I have all the DLC because I got ME2 late? I don't know...
Anyway, I'm going to get back to ME now. Try get it done.
See you laters!
In England, it doesn't matter where you live or how long you have lived there for, it costs to get into Uni and a hell of a lot of money might I add. Thousands in fact. Anyhoo, I also hate Mass Effect. I definitely have number one for Xbox and PC, but I may also have two for PC. Not sure, I will have to check.
